Dosha Quiz
A Classical Assessment of Prakṛti & Vikṛti
Discover Your Ayurvedic Constitution
In Ayurveda, we all carry the three doṣas—Vāta (air & space), Pitta (fire & water), and Kapha (earth & water)—in unique proportions.
Prakṛti refers to your constitutional tendencies, your orginal Ayurvedic blueprint, the patterns you've carried most of your life. Vikṛti refers to your current state of imbalance—how stress, diet, lifestyle, season, or life circumstances may have shifted your balance recently.
This quiz explores both, so you can understand not just who you are, but where you are right now. Remember: imbalances are temporary and workable. Ayurveda is not about fixing your dosha.
It’s about understanding which energies are moving out of harmony in the present moment and supporting the body’s innate wisdom to restore balance and return to your unique natural constitution.
This quiz is just a guide. It does not provide a comprehensive deep dive into your true prakruti. Only an Ayurvedic practitioner is able to achieve this. With your results from the quiz you can start to intuitively notice the doshas at play within you and start to incorporate Ayurvedic practices that help in bringing about balance.
When you feel light, scattered or dry (Vata qualities), you may need routine, warmth and nourishment.
When you feel sharp, driven or overheated (Pitta qualities), you may need cooling, cleansing and meditation.
When you feel slow, steady or heavy (Kapha qualities), you may need stimulation, warmth, and dryness.
